Painting on cookies can feel intimidating without the right foundation. This hand-painting-only class is designed to build confidence, clarity, and intention through focused technique and guided practice.

All skill levels are welcome in this fast-paced and detail-driven class. Students should be comfortable working with brushes and following demonstrations. If hand painting feels especially stressful, this may not be the best fit—and that’s okay.

After a brief discussion of concepts, we’ll spend most of our time in hands-on demonstration and practice.

You’ll learn to:

• Use color theory effectively
• Create metallic effects with gel coloring
• Build depth, dimension, highlights, and shadows
• Paint realistic folds and finishes
• Handle and care for brushes properly

You’ll leave with three hand-painted cookies, a box for transport, and a swag bag to continue practicing at home
