Create a 3D-looking pumpkin critter’s home that you can turn into different scenes for Halloween, fall, Christmas, and September-December birthdays! Step by step we will delve into the many wonderful capabilities of Royal icing, creating popping dimension and depth. This 6 x 7” set is perfect as a lit-up centerpiece cookie platter surrounded by leaf and acorn cookies, as a boxed set for gift-giving and pop-up sales, or propped up on an easel for your own house friend.
Skills Taught:
- Making a large stand-out leaf and curly vines out of RI
- Simple yet effective painting skills, tips, and tricks to create dimension and
depth, such as feathering, buffing, shading, and veining
- Creating soft layers and different textures
- Making a cozy crochet scarf
- Creating puffy 3-dimensional icing transfers in your mouse’s home. (Extra
add-on transfers at bottom of picture is only for fast-paced workers and will not be taught during
class.)
- Creating the puffy rounded look on cookies
- Micro-piping
- Adding gloss for that special shine to the eyes, candle flame, and coffee
- How to make a candy light-up window
