We’ll discuss portraiture secrets, realistic skin tones achieved with edible colors, blurring your brushstrokes, painting convincing reflections, and more. We’ll learn the tricks to working on a royal icing surface without dissolving it. Then, we’ll enhance the effect with a side-angled royal icing rose.

Prerequisites are feeling comfortable manipulating a detail paintbrush and squeezing stiff floral icing. Recommended for ages 13 and up, especially with artistic ability and/or enthusiasm! Class workbook, all materials, access to online painting demos, and a swag bag will be provided.
